2008 Audition Info Below The City of Cullman Parks and Recreation Department Presents:
February 18-23 Missoula Children's Theatre Audition Notice Dear Parents and Guardians, Auditions for Missoula Children's Theatre production of "Rumpelstiltskin" will be held on Monday, February 18th, 2008, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Cullman Civic Center Auditorium. There are roles for students in grades Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Approximately 50-60 local students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT Tour Actor/Directors. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition should arrive by the scheduled starting time and plan to stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 30 minutes after the auditions. Those cast will be asked to pay a $20 participation fee, which will provide 2 Parent Tickets to the cast member. A Parent Ticket is good for both shows. It is a group audition-no advance preparation is necessary, but a SMILE ☺never hurts. They should just be ready to come and have a good time! Rehearsals will be conducted every day during the week of February 18-22, 2008, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Although not all cast members will be needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the auditions. Cast members scheduled for the full 4.5 hours of rehearsal will be asked to bring a sack lunch, supper, or snack. The performances will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Cullman Civic Center. The students in the cast will be needed for rehearsal in the morning before the performances that day. All those cast must be available for ALL scheduled performances. Missoula Children's Theatre is a non-profit organization based in Missoula, Montana. This coming year, nearly 65,000 cast members across the globe will take to the stage to the delight and applause of their families, friends, community, neighbors and teachers! The program is presented by the Cullman City Parks and Recreation Department. The actor/directors residency is provided by Hanceville Inn and Suites.
