Cullman's Christkindlmarkt Shines with Record-Breaking Attendance

Cullman’s vibrant German roots were on full display during this year's annual Christkindlmarkt, and CPRST is thrilled to see how this beloved tradition continues to flourish. Hosted in the heart of downtown Cullman, the market set an impressive new single-day attendance record of over 45,000 guests, drawing visitors from all 50 U.S. states! This outstanding turnout speaks volumes about our community’s warm hospitality and the growing appeal of Christkindlmarkt as a must-visit holiday event. Cullman Christkindlmarkt saw over 415,000 visitors from November 20 to December 23, 2025.

A Celebration of Heritage and Community

Guests enjoyed a festive array of traditional German food, artisanal shopping, and holiday entertainment. The market featured everything from handcrafted ornaments to seasonal gifts, creating a unique shopping experience and supporting local artisans and small businesses. Local officials are rightfully proud—Christkindlmarkt not only boosts our economy but also shines a spotlight on Cullman’s rich cultural heritage, encouraging tourism that reaches far beyond our city limits.

With such remarkable growth, organizers already have their eyes on the future, aiming to make Christkindlmarkt even bigger and better. The entire community, including Cullman Parks, Recreation, and Sport Tourism, celebrates this achievement and looks forward to continued success.
